50,000 Meal Project

The 50,000 Meal Project is a project whose mission is to feed orphaned children nutrient-dense meals in Haiti, Honduras, and Ethiopia. Malnutrition or undernutrition is affecting children's health and brain development which negatively affects cognitive development, educational performance, and economic productivity in adulthood.

Luckily, The Hugo Project has just partnered with Ricebowls- a non-profit whose mission is to give back to orphaned children who are malnourished and are in need of the right nutrients.

For just $1.00 a day you are able to feed a child 3 fresh and locally sourced meals.

Yes… it is that inexpensive to locally source nutrient-dense foods.
